Finally, let’s keep our hope and our lives centered on Jesus Christ
While we can all have complete assurance and trust that God and Jesus Christ will keep their promises, we can be just as sure that we will not. “The best of us aren’t too good” and we all need the grace, forgiveness, and mercy that is available through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. We all fall short. We all experience the shortcomings of others. Here in mortality, we experience sickness, disappointment, unfairness, and the list goes on and on. These are side effects of living. Our adversary and enemy of our souls would love for these things to derail us from our covenant path. He is anti-Christ which in essence means anything but Christ. He may rage in hearts or subtly seduce but his intent is to divide and to drift us away towards anything but Christ.
Let’s stop giving place to this enemy. Let’s push back faithfully and give place for God in our lives. In Preach My Gospel there is this hopeful teaching…”All that is unfair about life can be made right through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.” All that is unfair is a really long list but I assure you that there is nothing, no spiritual wound too small nor too big that cannot be healed by the Savior’s sacrifice. He is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. He is my Savior. Not just my Savior that one time in 1994. Or that time when I fell on my knees in 2007. He is my savior yesterday, today, and forever.

Finalmente, mantengamos nuestra esperanza y nuestra vida centradas en Jesucristo.
Si bien todos podemos tener completa seguridad y confianza en que Dios y Jesucristo cumplirán sus promesas, podemos estar igualmente seguros de que no lo haremos. “Los mejores de nosotros no son demasiado buenos” y todos necesitamos la gracia, el perdón y la misericordia que están disponibles a través de la expiación de Jesucristo. Todos nos quedamos cortos. Todos experimentamos las deficiencias de los demás. Aquí en la vida terrenal, experimentamos enfermedades, decepciones, injusticias, y la lista sigue y sigue. Estos son efectos secundarios de vivir. A nuestro adversario y enemigo de nuestras almas le encantaría que estas cosas nos descarrilaran de nuestro camino del convenio. Él es anticristo, lo que en esencia significa cualquier cosa menos Cristo. Puede enfurecerse en los corazones o seducir sutilmente, pero su intención es dividirnos y alejarnos hacia cualquier cosa menos a Cristo.
Dejemos de darle lugar a este enemigo. Retrocedamos fielmente y demos lugar a Dios en nuestras vidas. En Predicad Mi Evangelio hay esta enseñanza esperanzadora... "Todo lo que es injusto en la vida puede corregirse mediante la expiación de Jesucristo". Todo lo que es injusto es una lista realmente larga, pero les aseguro que no hay nada, ni herida espiritual demasiado pequeña ni demasiado grande, que no pueda ser sanada por el sacrificio del Salvador. Él es el Salvador y Redentor del mundo. Él es mi Salvador. No solo mi Salvador esa vez en 1994. O esa vez cuando caí de rodillas en 2007. Él es mi salvador ayer, hoy y para siempre.
