Before Jesus died on the cross, He had a final meal with His friends, the Disciples. He wanted to give them something to remember Him by when He wasn't with them, so He used the bread and the wine that they were having with their supper that night. The bread and the wine are both symbols that represent Jesus. One of the crucial moments of the Last Supper is Jesus’ command to remember what He was about to do on behalf of all humanity: shed His blood on the cross, thereby paying the debt of our sins.
We can be more like Jesus in how we view and embrace our hardships. Just as Jesus bears the burden of our sins, our hardships are opportunities for us to learn and grow, so we can help lessen the burden for one other by helping each other as we go through our hard times.
Antes de que Jesús muriera en la cruz, tuvo una comida final con sus amigos, los discípulos. Quería darles algo para recordarlo cuando no estaba con ellos, así que usó el pan y el vino que estaban tomando con la cena esa noche. El pan y el vino son ambos símbolos que representan a Jesús. Podemos ser más como Jesús en la forma en que vemos y aceptamos nuestras dificultades. Así como Jesús lleva la carga de nuestros pecados, nuestras dificultades son oportunidades para que aprendamos y crezcamos, para que podamos ayudar a aliviar la carga unos a otros ayudándonos unos a otros a medida que atravesamos nuestros momentos difíciles.
