Feather River Temple Open House
MUSICIANS NEEDED FOR TEMPLE OPEN HOUSE
August 19th
Background music will be provided for our guests in the Welcome Center (the Stake Center at the temple grounds) before they tour our beautiful new Feather River Temple on Friday evenings and Saturdays. We hope all who want to participate will have an opportunity to share their talents.
Guidelines for Music:
The music must be soft, hymn-based melodies to provide a sacred atmosphere before guests tour the temple. Appropriate primary songs are also acceptable. Instruments may include piano, organ, harp, flute, acoustic guitar (not strummed), strings which can be performed as solos or in small groups. Appropriate woodwinds may be considered, as long as the music is quiet and reverent. There will be no vocals, brass, or other loud instruments.
Musicians should be at a level of expertise appropriate for this event. Recommended minimum age is 11-years old with sufficient maturity for the sacred nature of this event.
