Romans 8:38-39
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
This was one of my dad's favorite scriptures that he shared with many members when he served as a Bishop. He told me that the atonement applies to all of us and that everyone is worthy and loved enough to take part in it. Nothing should stop us from understanding how much he loves us and nothing we can do will stop him from continuing to love us. I love this scripture not only for its message but for the memory of my dad sharing it with me.
